Moran Electrical Solutions Ltd is a family-based company established in 2010 by Brian Moran. Brian worked as an electrician from school before gaining over 30 years of 'on-site' experience working for various companies along the way.
He eventually progressed from the 'tools' to become a manager at Rotherham Council, where he built up a solid relationship with schools in the local area and other council-run buildings - to which we still provide our services today.
The company has built up an extensive customer base and has previously undertaken works for a wide variety of companies and organisations such as:
- Rotherham Borough Council-run and RIDO buildings
- A large number of primary schools, secondary schools and children's centres throughout Rotherham, Sheffield, Derbyshire and West Yorkshire
- JCT 600 Dealerships
- Gilder Group dealerships and property
- Nationwide storage and distribution companies
- A wide range of residential, commercial and private properties locally and throughout the UK
Back in 2010, we began as a close-knit team of fully qualified electricians who had previously worked together for several years for a large local contractor.
In 2017 Brian made his semi-retirement more permanent (even though he is still involved with the company in an advisory/consultation and father figure role to us all). Slight staffing changes also came into effect with Matt Rodgers taking over ownership and the day-to-day running of the business. Our previous JTL apprentice also became fully qualified and continues to grow in knowledge and experience.
We pride ourselves on providing a quality service to all our customers; our excellent reputation has gained from our many satisfied and loyal repeat customers and their recommendations.
Alongside this, we support and carry out 24-hour call out and installation works for local charities Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and their retail outlets, Rotherham Hospice.
We have also worked with The Friends of Sandall Park - Doncaster and Cavendish Cancer Care, where for many years we have helped with the marquee installation works for their annual charity clay pigeon shoot based at Chatsworth House.
In September 2015 we held our first charity golf day at South Chesterfield Golf Club to raise funds for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and with the help and donations from our suppliers, customers and other local businesses we raised over £800.
